Media Player Recommendation (alternate solution to Mitte/Millumin)
Legion II Media Player
For media playback, I like using “Ifelseware’s” Legion II application. It’s a windows based media player solution that is very powerful and has similar features to “Millumin”. I have this software installed on an Ultra i9 laptop with an RTX 4070 GPU and connected via Thunderbolt 3 to Sonnet enclosure with a Blackmagic Design Decklink 8K card. For 1080 applications – I can swap out the 8K card for a Decklink Duo.

ATEM 2M/E Constellation HD Switcher
With 20 inputs, 12 outputs and a supersource channel – this switcher is a great fit for small meetings that use 2-3 main screens with TV delays and multiple DSMs. I usually create the presets and program these scenes to a streamdeck before arriving on site. This saves a lot of time and allows client rehearsals to commence sooner than later. Just connect the sources to the switcher and you are ready to run-through the presets!
ATEM ISO SDI EXTREME Switcher
This model has 8 inputs, 4 outputs plus 1 supersource channel. Still a good fit for single and dual screen shows with 1-2 down-stage monitors. The image above shows the presets that were loaded onto a streamdeck for instant scene changes.
Stage Timer with Messages and Q&A
Stagetimer.io
An alternate solution to using the DSAN Limitimer, “Stagetimer.io” provides additional features that come in handy… sharing the dashboard with your client so onsthey can monitor incoming questions, send messages to the presenters, included Q&A feature using a provided link or QRCode.
